History of Narine's illegal bowling action:

Narine's troubles with illegal bowling action goes to as back as 2014. He was reported twice in the now-defunct Champions League 2014 edition and also had to miss the ODI World Cup in 2015 to work on his action. He was reported again during IPL 2015 season and was later suspended from bowling in November later that year. Recently in 2018, Narine was once again reported for illegal bowling action in Pakistan Super League.

What next for Sunil Narine in IPL 2020:

With Narine already reported once in the season, he is now placed on the 'Warning List' according to IPL's Suspected Illegal Bowling Action policy. He is allowed to bowl in the tournament though. One more report against his bowling action in the season would result in suspending Narine from bowling in IPL until cleared by the BCCI Suspect Bowling Action Committee.

What can one expect from Narine going forward in IPL 2020:

Narine has delivered a match-winning over defending 14 runs off the 20th over against Kings XI Punjab with Glenn Maxwell at the crease on Saturday (Oct 10). KKR's next game is against on-song Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Narine is expected to bowl lot slower going forward which helps him control his bowling arm better.
