Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by a big margin of nine wickets in the second T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ongoing three-match series. With this victory, they have also won the series with still a match to go! This is Pakistan's first series victory after losing four T20I series on the trot!

It was a disappointing performance from Bangladesh having opted to bat first. With a half-century from opener Tamim Iqbal (65 off 53), Bangladesh finished with 136 for 6 in their 20 overs. In reply, home team got to the target with nine wickets in hand and 20 balls to spare! Pakistan captain Babar Azam (66* off 44) and veteran Mohammad Hafeez (67* off 49) scored half-centuries in this massive victory.
