After being sent in to bat first, Renegades posted 175 for 5 in their 20 overs courtesy a 68-ball 109 from captain Aaron Finch. In reply, Sixers chased down the target with seven wickets in hand and 8 balls to spare courtesy half-centuries each from Josh Philippe (61 off 42) and Steven Smith (66* off 40).
Steven Smith has been adjudged as the 'Player of the Match' for his unbeaten half-century in this high run-chase. Renegades will play their only remaining game of this season on Monday (Jan 27) against Brisbane Heat.
