In what comes as a terrible news for Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH), their ace pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2020 owing to his thigh muscle injury! He sustained the injury during SRH's match against Chennai Super Kings on Friday (Oct 02).

"Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out of IPL with a thigh muscle injury. It is probably a grade 2 or 3 injury, which could mean that he would be out for at least 6 to 8 weeks. It might effectively rule him out of India's tour of Australia," said an official regarding Bhuvi's injury.
This injury to Bhuvi which needs a longer recovery time also casts a doubt on his participation in India's upcoming tour of Australia later this year. As a replacement, Sunrisers named left-arm pacer Prithvi Raj Yarra as his replacement. This is already second injury for Sunrisers in this season. Sunrisers overseas player Mitch Marsh was earlier ruled out due to ankle injury and later he was replaced by Jason Holder.
In another development, Delhi Capitals right-arm spinner Amit Mishra has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2020 season owing to a finger injury. He sustained the injury while attempting a return catch during Capitals' high-scoring game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Sharjah on Saturday (Oct 03). Delhi Capitals are yet to announce Mishra's replacement in their squad.
