Comfortable series victory for hosts Pakistan as they thumped Zimbabwe by a huge margin of 8 wickets in the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series. It was an complete team effort from Pakistan as they had taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series. For the record, Pakistan won the three-match ODI series in the ongoing tour earlier by a margin of 2-1.

Having opted to bowl first, Pakistan bowlers did well to restrict Zimbabwe to a par total of 134/7 in 20 overs. Ryan Burl (32* off 22) and Wesley Madhevere (24 off 22) are the only players to get past the 20-run mark for the visitors. Among Pakistan bowlers, Usman Qadir and Haris Rauf bagged three wickets each while Faheem Ashraf accounted for a sole wicket.

During the chase, Pakistan lost opener Fakhar Zaman (5 off 11) early and did not put a foot wrong from then! Captain Babar Azam (51 off 28) scored his second consecutive half-century while Haider Ali (66* off 43) and Khushdil Shah (11* off 9) remained unbeaten to take Pakistan to a 8-wicket victory with 4.5 overs to spare in their innings. Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarabani bagged both the wickets to fall in Pakistan's innings.

Pakistan batsman Haider Ali bagged the 'Player of the Match' award for his unbeaten half-century in this series-winning victory. With this victory, Pakistan have already won the three-match series by 2-0. The third and final T20I of the series is scheduled to be played at the same venue on Tuesday (Nov 10).
