“Unfortunate”, “Not Needed”, “Inexcusable” and many more. These are some of the words used on digital media to describe Rohit Sharma’s dismissal in the first innings of the fourth Test match against Australia.

Rohit lofted a flighted delivery from Australia’s off-spinner Nathan Lyon to the mid-wicket region. He was hoping to clear the boundary even with a fielder placed there. But he totally miscued his shot which helped Starc to hold on to the catch running in from the boundary rope. Rohit was in superb touch before his dismissal but he throwed it away with this mistimed shot. And this had the fans and commentators voice out their anger!
