Indian captain Virat Kohli has been having a tough time in cricket in the recent past. His dismissals have been in the identical fashion - poking at wider deliveries and getting out! He had the same weakness during the England tour in 2014 but had corrected it and went on to become one of the greats in International cricket since then!
However, the weakness seemed to have resurfaced for the Indian captain. Virat was caught at first slip off Lungi Ngidi's bowling in the first innings and by wicket-keeper off Marco Jansen in the second innings. Both the deliveries were well outside off and Virat just poked at them to gift his wicket!
Kohli looked very much dejected after his dismissal in the second innings. He was dismissed off the very first delivery after Lunch on Day 4. He had a very long slow walk to the dressing room and was looked very pale looking at the replays of his replays from the dressing room. Here is his dismissal from these second innings...

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli ended 2021 with no centuries in International cricket! In the 30 innings across all formats he played this year, he scored 964 runs with the best score of unbeaten 80*! Virat's last international century came in 2019, against Bangladesh in a Day-Night Test match in 2019 at Eden Gardens!
