Hong Kong makes it two wins in two games

Yasim Murtaza's all-round heroics helped Hong Kong comfortably defeat Kuwait in the 4th match of the Asia Cup Qualifiers to register two wins in 2 games! With 4 points, Hong Kong are at the top of the table and have more chances of making it to the Super 12 stage!

Toss Update: Hong Kong won the toss and opted to field first.

After being sent into bat first, Kuwait scored 151 on the board losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Edson Silva at no. 8 scored a half-century - 56 runs off 30 balls with four and 6 sixes. If not for this innings, Kuwait's scorecard would have looked very weak! Hong Kong's Yasim bowled economically conceding just 11 runs from his 4 overs bagging 2 wickets.

Hong Kong, chasing 152 runs to win, got over the line losing just 2 wickets. Their top 3 batters got all the runs as they chased down the target in just 17.4 overs. Captain Babar Hayat (53*) and opener Nizakat Khan (50) scored half-centuries each while the other opener Yasim scored 46 runs. 

Match result: Hong Kong defeated Kuwait by a margin of 8 wickets.
