New Zealand have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming limited-overs tour to West Indies. A total of 6 games (3 T20Is, 3 ODIs) between August 10 and August 21. Kane Williamson is back to lead NZ with veteran bowling attack - Southee and Boult - back in the limited-overs squad.

Finn Allen and Michael Bracewell have put up their hand whenever they got an opportunity and this upcoming Windies tour would be a great chance for them to cement their place in the side with T20 World Cup later this year in Australia.

"It’s always exciting to be heading somewhere you’ve not been in a while and I know this group can’t wait for the challenge of taking on the West Indies in the Caribbean," said Gary Stead, New Zealand head coach. Apparently, New Zealand's last tour to West Indies was in 2014!

This tour would mark a return for Williamson who is set to captain Blackcaps. Prior to this series, Kane played just 5 ODIs, 5 Tests, and 2 T20Is in West Indies with the last appearance coming in 2014! Though Williamson averages around 42 across all formats in Windies, this tour would still pose new challenges for him!

The tour would kick start with the 3-match T20I series (Aug 10, 12, 14) and will be concluded with the 3-match ODI series (Aug 17, 19, 21). Sabina Park in Jamaica will host all the 3 T20Is while all the 3 ODIs will be played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

New Zealand Squad (for both ODIs & T20Is): Kane Williamson (c), Finn Allen, Trent Boult, Michael Bracewell, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Martin Guptill, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee
