Brandon King's 68 and Obed McCoy's 6-17 helped West Indies comfortably defeat India in the 2nd T20I match of the 5-match series to level the 5-match series 1-1. At a venue, India had not played before looked pale with the bat as the hosts made a comeback after losing the first T20I.

Toss Update: West Indies won the toss and opted to field first.
After being sent into bat first, India posted a score of just 138 runs on the board before getting bowled out in 19.4 overs. Rohit Sharma bagged first-ball Duck and the visitors do not seem to be recovered from that blow! Hardik Pandya (31 off 31) and Ravindra Jadeja (27 off 30) as India managed to get past the 100-run mark. But India's total was never going to be enough!
Obed McCoy was the pick of Windies bowlers with his bowling figures of 6-17 from his 4 overs. Incidentally, he also bowled a maiden over in his spell. A 6-wicket haul including a maiden over is always a dream come true for any player and McCoy was successful in bagging these figures against a top unit like India!
West Indies, chasing 139 runs to win, chased down the target losing just 5 wickets in 19.2 overs. Though the match went into the final over of the match, the hosts comfortably got over the line with a thumping winning margin! Brandon King (68 off 52) scored at the top while Devon Thomas (31* off 19) provided late momentum in this run-chase.
