After being sent into bat first, New Zealand scored just 190 runs before getting bowled out in 45.2 overs. Kane Williamson (34) and Michael Bracewell (31) scored the 30s each and there were four other scores of 20+ but none went on to make it a big score!
Eventually, New Zealand had to settle for just a low total! Akeal Hosein and Alzarri Joseph bagged 3 wickets each and Jason Holder accounted for 2 wickets while Kevin Sinclair and Yannic Cariah picked up a wicket each.
West Indies, chasing 191 runs to win, managed to chase down the target losing just 5 wickets in 39 overs. Shamarh Brooks led their batting unit with a brilliant knock of 79 runs from 91 deliveries. There was not much to defend for the kiwi bowlers as the Windies chased down the target with ease!
