India were hit by terrible news as one of their premium all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing Asia Cup in UAE. He sustained a knee injury and this comes as a huge blow as India are to play their next match on Sunday!

"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Axar Patel as the replacement for Ravindra Jadeja in the ongoing Asia Cup. Ravindra Jadeja has sustained a right knee injury and is ruled out of the tournament. He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team," stated BCCI in their media release.
Jadeja has been replaced by a like-a-like player Axar player who was earlier named in the list of standbys in India's squad for the tournament. Axar will be joining the team India in Dubai soon although BCCI has mentioned an exact date.
