Curtis Campher with the bat and Curtis Campher with the ball helped Ireland comfortably defeat Scotland in the 7th match of the First Round of the T20 World Cup 2022 edition to stay alive in the competition. It was a thriller where both teams made comebacks and Ireland finally snatched the victory!

Having opted to bat first, Scotland scored 176 on the board losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Opener Michael Jones was the star of their innings with 86 runs off 55 deliveries including 6 fours and 4 sixes. Matthew Cross (28 off 21) and Richard Berrington (37 off 27) also contributed in crucial partnerships for the 2nd and wickets respectively.
