South Africa defeated England by a margin of 1 run in the first T20I of the three-match series played at Buffalo Park in East London on Wednesday (Feb 12). Lungi Ngidi played a crucial role in this victory as he defended 7 runs off the final over to hand this morale-boosting victory to South Africa.
After being sent in to bat first, South Africa scored 177 for 8 in 20 overs courtesy 105 runs from the top three batsmen - Quinton de Kock (31 off 15), Temba Bavuma (43 off 27) and Rassie van der Dussen (31 off 26)!
