World T20 winning West Indies Women's team captain Stafanie Taylor achieved further heights in her career as she became only the second player (in both Men's and Women's cricket) to complete 3000 runs in T20I cricket. She made this feat in the second T20I of the ongoing five-match T20I series against England Women in England!

New Zealand's Suzie Bates was the first and only other player to complete 3000 runs in T20I cricket. She got to the milestone against Ireland Women in the Women's World T20 2018 in what was her 105th T20I innings. Australian captain Meg Lanning is next in the list with 2838 runs in 100 T20I innings in this format. Another 162 runs and Lanning would become the third player joining this elite club.
Stafanie Taylor completed 3K runs in 103 innings becoming the fastest to the milestone thus far! The record can be broken by the Indian captain Virat Kohli who is currently with 2794 runs in just 76 innings!
"To see that it's a female who is in front of me, it shows the amount of work that we as female cricketers have been doing over the years. To see that a lot of people have highlighted what we have done is a great feeling. It's always about men's cricket, so it's good to see that they've highlighted females who have done really well in the game," said Stafanie Taylor reflecting on her milestone.
