Indian Premier League 2020
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI ) on Sunday (oct 25) have announced the schedule for the playoff fixtures and venue details for the ongoing IPL 2020 season. The high-scoring Sharjah venue is off the table for IPL playoffs with the same to be used for Women's T20 challenge 2020 tournament! As per the announcement, the Qualifier-1 and Final will be hosted by the 'ring of fire' Dubai while the Eliminator and Qualifier-2 will be played in Abu Dhabi.

BCCI confirmed the same in their media release.
The Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) Playoffs and Final will be played from 5th November to 10th November, 2020 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Qualifier 1 will be held in Dubai on 5th November followed by the Eliminator (6th November) and Qualifier 2 (8th November) in Abu Dhabi. The final will be held on 10th November in Dubai.
Going by the schedule, if the defending champions Mumbai makes it to the playoffs they wouldn't be too upset with the schedule as the Eliminator and Qualifier-2 will be played at Abu Dhabi - Mumbai Indians' favorite venue in IPL 2020 thus far! On the other hand, RCB (if they make it to the playoffs) would be happy about the Dubai games which is their favorite venue this season thus far!
On the other hand, BCCI are scheduling Women's T20 challenge 2020 this year same time as the IPL 2020 playoffs. Three teams led by Harmanpreet Kaur (Supernovas), Trailblazers (Smriti Mandhana) and Velocity (Mithali Raj) will be playing for the trophy. Each of these teams will play the two opponents once before fancying their chances for a Final. All the four matches in this Women's T20 challenge 2020 are scheduled to be played in Sharjah.

Qualifier 1 (Q1): Nov 05, Team 1 vs Team 2. Venue: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
Eliminator (E): Nov 06, Team 3 vs Team 4. Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Qualifier 2 (Q2): Nov 08, Loser of Q1 vs Winner of E. Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Final: Nov 10, Winner of Q1 vs Winner of Q2. Venue: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
