Cricket West Indies (CWI) have announced their squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand which is scheduled to kick start from November 27. A total of three T20Is are scheduled to be played on this tour followed by a two-match Test series. CWI has named a 15-member Test squad along with a 6-member reserve squad.

West Indies have dropped Shai Hope from their Test squad for this series and his poor form in the England tour earlier this year was the reason for his axing! Shai Hope scored just 105 runs in 6 innings in England with a best score of just 31! Darren Bravo, Shimron Hetmyer and Keemo Paul who opted out of England tour earlier this year have been recalled for this two-match Test series against New Zealand.
The first Test match of this two-match series will be played beginning from Dec 03 at Seddon Park in Hamilton while the second Test match will be played beginning from Dec 11 at Basin Reserve in Wellington.

Coming to the T20I squad, West Indies are missing some notable names in their squad. Evin Lewis, Lendl Simmons and Andre Russell have all been left out of the tournament as they opted out. Meanwhile, wicket-keeper batsman Andre Fletcher comes into the T20I squad for the first time since 2018!
All-rounder Kyle Mayers who had a good CPL season earned a maiden call-up to the Windies T20I squad. The three T20Is of the series are scheduled to be played on Nov 27, 29 and on30 respectively! The first T20I will be hosted by Auckland while the next two games are to be played in Mount Maunganui.
