After being sent into bat first, home team South Africa found it massively difficult to get going with the bat. Captain Quinton de Kock (30 off 18) top scored for them while 20s each from van der Dussen (25* off 29) and George Linde (29 off 20) helped them get to a par total of 146/6 in 20 overs.
