Hosts Pakistan thumped Zimbabwe in the final T20I of the three-match series to complete a 3-0 whitewash. They failed to extract the same result in the earlier ODI series but they eventually made it happen in the T20I series. It was another team effort from the Pakistan team as they thumped visitors by a huge margin of 8 wickets in the final T20I.

Having opted to bat first, Zimbabwe did not find it easy to get going. Captain Chamu Chibhabha who was struggling in this tour found his rhythm with the bat as he top scored with 31 runs. And with a crucial contribution from tail ender Donald Tiripano (28 off 22), Zimbabwe crawled their way to 129/9 in their 20 overs. Usman Qadir is the pick of Pakistan bowlers with 4 wickets while Imad Wasim (2/27), Mohammad Hasnain (1/22) and Haris Rauf (1/38) are the other wicket-takers in their line-up.

Pakistan, in reply, chased down the target with 8 wickets in hand and 4.4 overs to spare in their innings. Fakhar Zaman (21 off 24) and Haider Ali (27 off 20) scored 20s each while Abdullah Shafique (41* off 33) and Khushdil Shah (36* off 15) remained unbeaten to take them home with 8 wickets in hand. With this victory, Pakistan completed a clean sweep of the T20I series.

Usman Qadir (4/13 in 4 overs) has been adjudged as the 'Player of the Match'. He also bagged 'Player of the Series' award for his 8 wickets in 3 games. Zimbabwe tour of Pakistan 2020 is now complete with this final T20I of the series. For the record, home team Pakistan won the three-match ODI series by 2-1 and the three-match T20I series by 3-0.
