Tom Latham's 69 with the bat during the run-chase and Trent Boult's 3-53 with the ball helped New Zealand comfortably defeat West Indies in the 3rd ODI of the 3-match series to bag the series 2-1. Kiwis also won the 3-match T20I series on this tour by the same margin (2-1).

After being sent into bat first, West Indies scored 301 runs on the board losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Opener Kyle Mayers was the top contributor for this total with 105 runs which was also his maiden hundred in this format of the game. Nicholas Pooran (91 off 55) and Shai Hope (51 off 100) too scored fifties in this match! Hope's strike rate was on the lower side though which was covered by Pooran!
Trent Boult once again picked up a 3-wicket haul, his second in as many games! Mitchell Santner bagged 2 wickets as Tim Southee, James Neesham, and Lockie Ferguson all accounted for a wicket each!
New Zealand, chasing 302 runs to win, managed to score 307 runs losing 5 wickets in 47.1 overs. Tom Latham (69), Daryl Mitchell (63), Martin Guptill (57), and Devon Conway (56) all scored half-centuries each. James Neesham scored unbeaten 34* runs off just 11 deliveries with a four and 4 sixes as NZ got home with 2.5 overs to spare!
