Chapman stars as New Zealand win one-off Scotland ODI

New Zealand defeated Scotland in the only ODI on this tour to complete a whitewash on the tour. Earlier, New Zealand won both the T20Is in this tour of Scotland before registering a convincing 7-wicket victory in the lone ODI.

Scotland won the toss and opted to bat first. Having opted to bat first, Scotland posted a total of 306/10 on the board in 46.4 overs. Michael Leask played a good all-round hand scoring 85 runs off just 55 deliveries and registered bowling figures of 2/46 from his 8 overs but it all went in vain as the hosts lost the game eventually.

New Zealand, chasing 307 runs to win, got the task at hand finished successfully losing just 3 wickets in 45.5 overs. Mark Chapman starred with the bat for the visitors with an unbeaten 101* runs. Daryl Mitchell (74*) and Finn Allen (50) also contributed with half-centuries each.
