Toss Update: India won the toss and opted to bat first.

Having opted to bat first, India posted a score of 188 on the board losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer top scored for India with a half-century while Deepak Hooda (38 off 25) and stand-in captain Hardik Pandya (28 off 16) made crucial contributions to the total.

It has been another disappointing performance for the Windies pacer Obed McCoy who registered bowling figures of 2/27 just from his 2 overs. Odean Smith was the pick of the Windies bowlers with figures of 3/33 from his 4 overs. On the other hand, Indian batters have also attacked all-rounder Keemo Paul who conceded 24 runs from his 2 overs.

During the run-chase, the home team batters were clueless against the Indian spin attack who managed to bag all the 10 wickets! All three Indian seamers - Arshdeep (0/18 from 2 overs), Avesh Khan (0/20 from his 2 overs), and Hardik Pandya (0/19 from his 2 overs) - were expensive while the spinners - Axar Patel (3/15 from 3 overs), Kuldeep Yadav (3/12 from 4 overs), and Ravi Bishnoi (4/16 from 2.4 overs) - bowled brilliantly!

Shimron Hetmyer, among the home team batters, showed resilience with the bat scoring a well-constructed half-century but it all went in vain as there is no support for him from the other end! West Indies, chasing 189 runs to win, eventually were bowled out for just 100 runs losing in just 15.4 overs.

Match result: India defeated West Indies by a margin of 88 runs.

Axar Patel has been adjudged as the Player of the Match for his crucial contribution of 3-15 from his 3 overs including a maiden over. With this fifth T20I, the 5-match T20I series in the Caribbean has come to an end with India taking it by 4-1.

Brief Scores: India: 188-7 in 20 overs (Shreyas Iyer 64, Odean Smith 3-33) defeated West Indies: 100-10 in 15.4 overs (Shimron Hetmyer 56, Ravi Bishnoi 4-16) by a margin of 88 runs
