Pakistan beat Afghanistan to reach Asia Cup Final

Naseem Shah's two consecutive sixes in the last over helped Pakistan clinch a low-scoring nail-biter against Afghanistan in the Super 4 game of the Asia Cup 2022 game! With this 1-wicket victory, Pakistan booked a final date with Sri Lanka while India and Afghanistan are ruled out of the tournament!

After being sent into bat first, Afghanistan scored 129 on the board losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Ibrahim Zadran top scored for them with 35 runs while their other batters also got starts but couldn't convert them on this slow pitch in Sharjah! At the halfway stage, Pakistan were named favorites to win this match by a big margin but they almost jinxed it during the chase!
