Zimbabwe defeat Australia by 3 wickets in the 3rd ODI

Ryan Burl's superb five-wicekt haul buried Australia dead center in the third and final ODI of the 3-match series as Zimbabwe registered their maiden victory on Australian soil! Even though Australia won the series 2-1, this crushing defeat might not give them sleep for many more nights to come!

Toss Update: Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to field first.

After being sent into bat first, Australia were bowled out for just 141 runs on the board in 31 overs. David Warner waged a lone battle scoring 94 runs which is equivalent to 66.67 of total team runs, the second most by a batter in an ODI innings! Glenn Maxwell (19) was the only other to get into double digits in this innings!

Ryan Burl broke the back of Australia's scorecard with a 5-wicket haul in just 3 overs. Brad Evans (2 wickets) and Richard Ngarava, Victor Nyauchi, and Sean Williams accounted for a wicket each!

Zimbabwe, in reply, chased down the target successfully losing 7 wickets in 39 overs. Though they lost wickets regularly, the captain Regis Chakabva kept his cool while taking them over the line. He also scored an unbeaten 37* runs in this successful run-chase.

Josh Hazlewood was the top wicket-taker for Australia in this match while Mitchell Starc bagged his 200th wicket when he dismissed Ryan Burl in the 37th over. Starc took just 102 innings to this milestone, becoming the fastest in this format to get there!
